By accessing or using the PixelCarbs application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the App.
The App facilitates connections between individuals seeking nutritional tracking ("Clients") and coaches ("Coaches").
Client Consent: By generating or entering a coach access code, you ("Client") explicitly authorize the selected Coach to view, monitor, and analyse your personal nutrition, workout, and health-related data logged within the App.
Voluntary Disclosure: This data sharing is entirely voluntary. You ("Client") are solely responsible for selecting which Coach, if any, you choose to share your data with.
Limitation of Liability (PixelCarbs): PixelCarbs is a platform provider and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or data handling practices of any Coach. Once a Client consents to share data with a Coach, PixelCarbs cannot be held liable for any loss, misuse, or unauthorised disclosure of Client data that occurs through that coaching relationship.
Coach Responsibilities: Coaches agree that any data accessed through the App is strictly for the purpose of providing professional guidance. Coaches are prohibited from sharing, selling, or disclosing any Client data to third parties without the explicit, documented consent of the Client.
To upgrade your account to "Coach Mode," you must affirmatively accept these Terms, acknowledging your responsibilities regarding Client data.
Representations: By becoming a Coach, you represent that you possess the necessary certifications or professional knowledge to provide nutritional or health guidance.
Data Protection: You agree to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all Client data you access, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Client's Sole Responsibility: You acknowledge and agree that PixelCarbs acts solely as a technical platform to facilitate the connection between Clients and Coaches. PixelCarbs does not verify, vet, monitor, licence, or endorse the credentials, professional background, expertise, or capabilities of any individual operating as a Coach on the App.
Assumption of Risk: The decision to engage a Coach, to share personal health data, and to follow any guidance provided by a Coach is made solely by you, the Client. PixelCarbs expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, safety, appropriateness, or effectiveness of any advice, workout plan, or nutritional guidance provided by a Coach. You agree that PixelCarbs cannot be held responsible for any outcomes — positive or negative — arising from your engagement with a Coach.
All content, features, and functionality of the App are the exclusive property of PixelCarbs. Users are prohibited from using the App for any illegal activity, reverse engineering the software, or harassing other users.
